In the second half of 2021, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 11 series of models, with the top version Redmi Note 11 Pro+ bringing 120W fast charging technology to within 2,000 yuan for the first time, which is the fastest charging speed in the same price range and is considered the king of fast charging for 1,000 yuan.
Now Redmi is about to release a new member of the Note series, the Redmi Note 11S. According to 91Mobile, the Redmi Note 11S will go on sale overseas at the end of February.
The details about the Redmi Note 11S are scarce at the moment, as the leak claims that the Redmi Note 11S features a 90Hz high refresh rate full-screen, a MediaTek processor (model unknown), and a 100 megapixel (108MP) rear main camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a 2MP macro.
It's worth noting that the Redmi Note 11S may not be available in a China version, which could be a 4G model with pricing expected to be around $1000.
In addition, Redmi brand general manager Lu Weibing confirmed that the Redmi Note series will start with two iterations a year from the Note 11 series, positioning them as a "small flagship with performance" and "small flagship with experience" respectively.
Considering the Redmi Note 11 series is positioned as a "small flagship experience", the next generation Redmi Note 12 series will be positioned as a "small flagship performance".
